1. Blogger:
- It allows to write personal notes and reflections. One can also write articles and posts.
- Teachers can use it to publish their own work, and their students' work as well.
- To create a new blog profile: www.blogger.com - create new blog - add title

- Organize the blog: add labels that resemble a big folder containing several files that are correlated - add pages - add followers option (from the layout) - customize a theme - add a description for your blog
- To add a new post: view blog - new post - publish
- If you don't want to publish it immediately: save

2. Google Drive:
- It facilitates connection between teachers-teachers, students-students, and teachers-students.
- To save on it: drive - new - folder - name it - change its color
- If I sent version A, and received version B, while I want to keep my version A: file - version history - see version history - restore version A

3. Webinar:
- It presents live sessions accompanied by live conversations and discussions. It saves money and time, while attending it from home.
- Teachers can use it to attend conferences, live meetings, and live sessions with their students or colleagues as well.  
- We have to register first to attend any webinar.
- Take into consideration the time difference between the country of the presenter and ours.

4. Microsoft Word:
- It promotes typing in a professional and well organized way.
- Teachers can use it to type exams and activities. Students as well may use it to type their projects.
- To write a text of 10 paragraphs, 5 lines each: =rand(10,5)enter
- To select a heading: home - style - heading 1
- To select a subheading of style 2 let's say: home - style - heading 2
- To add references (APA style): insert citation - add new source
- If more than one author are found: after adding new source - edit
- Fill in all the required blanks, depending on the type of the source
- If we need to add more information through referencing: show all
- If after referencing we need to edit the reference: edit source
- To make a table of references (after adding the references): references - table of contents - choose style
- To update the table of references (after adding any reference): select the entire table - double click on the table - update table

5. Google Forms:
- It acts the same way as Microsoft word. Yet it is directly connected to Google Drive, with an immediate upload to it.
- Teachers can use it to to online exams, with immediate results. Students as well can use it to do surveys.
- Test making: drive - more - forms - templates - blank - choose a theme - put title - write description start numbering and writing the questions and selecting the type of the answers
- Click on the plus sign to add a new question
- In the section part, we can making it easier by putting choices, as A B C D
- Put the "required" option for all the obligatory questions
- Go to the setting - select quiz - make this a quiz - save
- Now, we can add points next to each question: answer key - add answer feedback - add the correct answer - add the relevant points
- To shuffle the questions: setting - presentation - shuffle question order
- Add confirmation message as Good Luck
- If the document is Microsoft Word, we can not edit it on drive, 1st transform it into Google Form: upload Microsoft document to Drive - open with Google Docs - edit











6. Padlet:
- It is a wall where several people can write and share thoughts at the same time.
- It is an immediate online discussion.
- It saves time and cost.
- Helps reduce noise.
- Helps in gaining several and various ideas at a time.
- It promotes you to rate a post easily, or to share your feedback, by liking or disliking a post.
- Double click anywhere on the wall to open a conversation box.
- Type the name in the title space.
- Type your comment below the name.
- You can change the color of the box by clicking on the three dots to the upper right corner.
- Like or dislike by clicking the relevant thumb.
- Rate using the given stars.
- Reload the page to monitor others' comments.

7. Rubrics:
- It is an evaluation tool.
- It facilitates the teacher's evaluation process.
- It is a ready to use application, with various formats, that suite different categories.
- The various criteria's percentages are equally distributed.
- Sign in to Rubrics application.
- Click on Rubrics then gallery.
- Select the topic, type of project and grade level.
- Pick the appropriate format.
- Save changes after modifications.

8. PollEverywhere:
- It is an evaluation tool.
- It facilitates the teacher's evaluation process.

- Sign up for a new account.

- Creator of action plans.
- Summarizes a process in specific steps, presented in sequence.

- Select the format you want, or design your own.
- Upload the pictures you want.
-Make sure the pictures are of the same format.

12. ActiveInspire:
- It is the application we can use when we have smart boards in schools.
- The teacher can design her lesson in an interactive way.
- There are many tools like the magic ink, spot light, revealer, containers, tracing...
- It works on the same concept as power point plus micro soft word but with more interactive tools and the advantage is that students can use them by themselves.
- Students are given chances to work, solve, edit as if they are working on their own sheet or even tabs.
- Everything is saved for future use.
- It facilitates the teacher's job in class by having the students all participate specially if provided on computers in a lab.

12. Google Slides:
- It is an application that allows you and people from different places and spots to work on a project without being there physically.
- It has same features like PowerPoint but a bit limited.
- The advantage is that members can have online chat on the drive, work without setting specific dates and without having to be formally dressed.
- Working on the slides is observed by other members.
- Members can modify and add on the slides.
- Everything would be automatically saved on the drive for all the members.
- It can be used for lesson plans or even presentations.
